For each GPU chip we keep the cheapest new card currently observed in this market, then list chips from the highest observed price to the lowest.
How fresh are the prices?
Listings are re-read several times a day. Each offer shows its observation time and is removed once it is too old to be trusted.
Is more VRAM always better?
Not by itself. Two cards with the same chip perform similarly; extra VRAM mainly helps at high resolutions, with large textures and for local AI workloads.
