How we compare prices
TechPrice Index compares observed offers from a partial catalogue of GPU, RAM, SSD and HDD retailers. These observations help compare offers; they are not a test of the hardware.
Coverage and observation time
Every offer carries an observation time. A listed price or stock status can change afterwards. Missing data is not a zero price or proof that a product is unavailable everywhere. Check the exact product, condition, stock and checkout total with the retailer before buying.
Item price, shipping and tax
Known shipping is added to the item price for comparison. Unknown shipping stays labelled as unknown; we do not invent a delivered total. Sorting follows the selected filters and mode. Currency follows the selected market; US tax may be calculated at checkout. Price per GB or TB is a capacity ratio, not a performance or endurance score.
Product identity and variants
GTIN and manufacturer references support matching when available. RAM module count and total capacity, interfaces, form factors and GPU variants matter. A similar title does not establish identical hardware. Follow the retailer link to verify the exact variant and what is included.
History and independence
History uses retained price observations and may be incomplete. We do not extrapolate missing periods or claim to cover every retailer. Commissions never determine offer order. An affiliate programme is used only after approval; the affiliation page explains the commercial model.
